rumours-WAEC:''we have not released results''


West African Examination Council (WAEC) has debunked the rumours that it has released 2012 May/June WAEC result.the Deputy Director,Public Affairs of the council,Mr Yusuf Ari speaking to newsmen in Lagos,said such rumours were ''evil and misleading''. He said that students should beware of fraudulent individuals who are requesting for money for scratch cards.Mr Ari said''there is absolutely nothing like that from our council.we are suprised about this information because we have been receiving calls concerning the said release of result.we have barely finished our examination'' he also said that the marking of scripts has just been concluded in some parts of the states and they are waiting for the security challenged states to conclude the marking of their scripts. ''Whenever we are set to publish our result,we shall announce it using all media of communication,as had always been practiced''.Ari said

Pastor commits suicide


One pastor Obaleme has committed suicide on thursday in warri,Delta state,Nigeria at the Udu bridge. the Pastor committed suicide by setting himself ablaze.Words have it that the Pastor,has been faced with family challenges lately. the pastor who went to the bridge with his car carrying a can of petrol,parked and set himself ablaze.he died before anyone could quench the fire. what a tragic story!

President Goodluck Jonathan threatened with impeachment


President Jonathan has been threatened by the house of representatives on thursday over poor and selective implementation of the country's budget which passed by the national assembly in march. the house claimed that the year is almost gone and the budget has only been implemented by 35 percent.they gave Jonathan until they resume recess in september to ensure proper implementation of the budget or gets faced with impeachment. However,impeaching the president would be almost impossible as the 1999 constitution stipulates that two-thirds majority of both chambers of the legislature must agree to the impeachment of the President. they also said that the country has recorded more than the estimated revenue in the budget but the executive has failed to pump money into ministries,department and agencies thereby,stalling the progress of huge projects in the country.

D'banj warned by a pastor on illuminati


D'banj who has been recently suspected to have joined illuminati,has been warned by a pastor at a service organised for nigerian celebrities as a result of pre-mature death amongst them to stay away from illuminati or go to hell. Pastor Wole Oladiyun,senior pastor of Christ Living Spring Apostolic Ministry,lagos gave D'banj the warning when they had a one on one chat. ''don't join illuminati if you don't want to go to hell fire'' these were the words of the pastor.
